Rawa Buaya PPSU Removes 500 Bags of Debris in Drainage Cleanup

Some 20 PPSU personnel from Rawa Buaya, West Jakarta, successfully removed 500 bags of mud and trash from five residential areas on Thursday (7/16).

This dredging focuses on waste removal, silt extraction, and normalization

Rawa Buaya Sub-district Head, Adith Pratama, stated that the drainage dredging is a proactive measure to anticipate flooding ahead of the rainy season while improving environmental hygiene.

"This dredging focuses on waste removal, silt extraction, and normalization to ensure that the drainage system functions properly and water flows smoothly," he expressed,

He further detailed that the five drainage locations cleaned are situated on Jalan Madrasah (RT 11/04) and Jalan Bojong Raya (RT 03/04). Other targeted areas include Jalan Bojong Raya/Paloma (RT 01/04), Jalan H. Djairi (RT 04 and RT 01 RW 02), and Jalan Dharma Wanita V (RT 09/01).

"The total length of the drains cleared across these five locations reaches 250 meters," he added.
